Wyoming Pronghorn Hat Trick

My wife, father-in-law, and I had a great hunt in Wyoming last week. Killed three great bucks in one day. We had four days to hunt, but only needed one. What a day. My wife's buck is 14 1/2 inches long and scores 73 2/8".

My father-in-laws buck is about the same size but he got a case of itchy trigger finger and took the shot BEFORE he took a good look at the buck. He ended up with a buck that was a little broken up. Still a great buck though, and he made an awesome shot on him.

I shot my buck as the sun was setting on the day. I knew he was a good one, but I didn't think he was 80" inches good. It's nice when they get bigger as you walk up to them. The photo doesn't do him justice.

Nice goats! One thing I don't like about hunting antelope is that sometimes the hunt is over too quickly....unless you hold out for something over 14"s.
