Wyoming outfitter recommendations

Does your group have any preference points?
You really need to provide more information as to how many PPs you have that would get you into a particular outfitter's assigned area, where you might want to hunt (western part where there are grizzlies or Big Horns where there aren't), a private ranch hunt or public land, a lodge type operation with ATVs used for transportation or a back country style horseback pack-in type hunt, etc. Each of these has different outfitters that specialize in certain types of hunts and to know exactly what you're looking for and where you could hunt with the number of PPs should get you some decent information from some of the members here.

Do you mean you now have 1 and will buy another this year so you'll have 2 going into the 2019 draw or you have 2 right now and will buy another this summer and have 3 for the 2019 draw. 1 PP makes a big difference if you will even draw a tag.

I think unit 60 may be a good option for you. Wolverine Outfitters or Triangle X Ranch are worth looking at.
I've hunted in the Afton/Hoback junction area a few years ago. There were tons of elk and a real fun hunt.
On these hunts you can't be afraid of horses and riding out at dark, staying out all day, and riding back in the dark. It's awesome, rough country!!

I hunted mule deer with Triple Three Ranch years ago when Craig was still here. Phil, the current owner, was my guide and I had a spectacular time. The amount of game seen was unbelievable and everyone in the operation was great to be around. I'm hoping to take my oldest son there in the next couple of years

60 can be hunted in the general tag with a rifle.... unless I'm missing something.

Unit 60 general season elk dates were 9/20-10/22. There is also a type 9 hunt as well, but for rifle its a general unit unless something changed for next year.

I think you may get a much better response from the forum, if you give a clear idea of what type of experience that you are looking for. Nice cabin or hotel hunt? Pack deep into the mountains and spend several days in the saddle?
Narrow down what type of hunt you're looking for and I'm sure you'll get some feedback. I'd say with 2 points, you're options are very limited.

That is correct, as I had a brain fart and looked in the draw odds that show only 60-9, rather than in the Regulation itself! Sorry about that!

Wish I started a couple of years ago for Wyoming points vs just staying with Colorado. Have 13 points there and that does not get much.Its either a couple of points or a lot of points.
Hot shower is the most important I guess after being in saddle all day. Not real particular on the hunt since I have hunted all day on horseback before. Just hoping for a great experience for my son so that he wants to go back. He is a so-so interested hunter right now.
