Wyoming elk unit 130? What's the skinny?

Now I'm lookin at WY unit 130 for elk. It looks like the rifle opened sooner the most units last year. Any ideas where to start lookin in this unit? It looks like it has good success for a general unit, it ain't that far from Arkansas. What about the wolves/grizzlies in the unit? Where to stay?

I don't really know that area, but doubt if wolves or grizzlies will be a factor.

My father-in-law is from Rawlins and hunted this area for many years I will check with him. He doesn't hunt it any more if that says anything for the unit. Are you looking for horns or meat? No worries about griz or wolves. You looking for a motel or camping area? Rawlins would be your best bet for a motel. With the slowdown on gas development you should be able to find a room. I will check on camping as well.
