Wyoming Bear Release Gone Bad

Recived these pictures in an email the other day, they look kind of old but I have never seen them before. There was one other pic that showed the guy with a few scratches but it the file was to big to post. He is lucky he didn't get hurt a lot worse.

That For P/U is an 86 or older, so they could be 20 years old.

There are 22 pics in all showing the whole attack and yes, the officer drew his .357 and killed the bear. He made it out with a scratched up leg.

His partners didn't get out because they were supposed to drive the truck away when he let the bear out. He yelled "go" and that attracted the bear to him. It was the combination of the bear leaping on the trap and them hitting the gas at the same time that made the trap fall out.
