So I got super lucky this year and drew area 54 type 1 elk tag. I was wondering if anyone had any info on where to start looking in this unit. From my research it seems to have some permeant herd bulls in the unit, but can get the big guys coming in from the migration. I have just moved back to Powell Wy from being stationed at Fort Bragg and will be fortunate enough to have the whole season to hunt. Thanks in advance for any help!!
