You would have to buy the $30 nonresident archery permit to use the tag during the early bow season for that unit. That season is listed in the Rules & Regulations section on the G& F website and also in the Special Archery Section of the pamphlet you should have received when you got your license in the mail. You are allowed to hunt the entire bow season and then the designated rifle season to fill that one tag if you buy the archery permit.
