My boys drew this tag. Will be their first Antelope Hunt. Both are in HS so getting out of school will be tricky. If they miss one day they have to take finals, otherwise they are exempt with a minimum GPA. May be a short trip but I don't care - we are going. Their time is going by too fast. Checkerboard unit but I'm excited to chase speed goats. Never done it myself and sitting on a bunch of points in WY. We'll see how it goes.

I also drew this area. Not many tags, or antelope I assume, but tons of public land it looks like. I am going to have my hands full this summer and fall with other hunts, but if I do make it out that way to do a little scouting and or if I make it out there for the hunt I will pass along any useful info I am able to come up with for you and your boys.

That's awesome. Thanks. You are probably right. We'll be after the non-resident 13?-14? ?trophy.? Just looking forward to getting the boys exposed to it and sharing in the adventure.

Awesome! Ha I might be right with you with a "resident" 13" trophy as I do love antelope meat! Good luck and like I said I will pass along any info if I have a chance to get out there to do any scouting!
