I agree, new. If I'm not correct it seems that Cabela's is a good place to buy spotters. First, they have the "will take anything back" return policy, just in case you decide you want a different model. Second, the price their includes the variable eyepiece and if you compare to most other places where you have to buy body and eyepiece separate, it's a great deal.
