My wife and I grew up in Woodburn, married and had 3 of our 5 kids there. Woodburn is a small town where you couldn't go to the store and not run into atlesast a few people you knew. We now live about 20 miles east of there...
Capt. Tom Tennant was a friend of the family, one of the police officers killed that horrible day. He left behind a wife and kids, one of whom graduated with my brother from Woodburn in 2000. Mr. Tennant worked with my wife in the past helping with teen outreach programs. His heart was always for the kids!
Thank God they caught the SOB and just found out they arrested his dad who is also linked to this as well...
Please keep your thoughts and prayers with the families during this Christmas season. I can't imagine the pain they are going through...
