They didn't look much bigger than the coyotes here in Utah. A semi-automatic 12 gauge with a large capacity magazine shooting 3" magnum BB's or #4 buck shot would do the trick nicely. A crying baby call would probably work well in town too.

That last one to run through looks very much like a german shepherd. The first ones running through there were definitely wolf looking.
