I wonder how many are truly in or cross thru Utah, I'm glad our DWR puts effort into eradicating them...

Wolf killed livestock animal in Rich County, Utah agriculture officials say

State agriculture officials said Tuesday that trappers are searching to capture and kill a wolf that killed a livestock animal in Rich County likely sometime over the weekend.

They've Never Expanded Much!

If They were gonna Do Good in this State They'd Already be doing Good!

Any Guesses to Why they never Increase in Numbers Much in this State?

It Ain't Hard to Figure out!

North slope is 8:100 bull to cow. Pretty hungry country.

The state trapper spends a lot of time up there, with pretty good sized beaver traps

I had a sighting a few years ago up logan canyon. I was about 1 mile from the UT ID border about 8 in the group. gnarly experience.

unfortunately they smelt me and were ridges away before I could lay eyes on them. they were only 50 yards away over the top of the finger ridge I was glassing from.

Yep. Been real close two different times in Uintas while elk hunting. Can't mistake them in both situations. No I did not let the air out of any, but DWR state they are just large coyotes. Just a little smarter.
