just wondering if anyone knew about fw&p's proposal to limit us to 2 horns per day in the wma's here in MT when they open

I sure hope they don't do that here in Utah. I don't know what limiting antlers collected will accomplish? Either way, I wait a long time to get up into these areas to find some good antlers. It's only a matter of time before they start charging us to collect them.

my understanding is that is supposed to discourage people from sneaking in and stashing horns,but i heard that it only applied to the first few days that they are open.

How crazy is that. Pretty soon the government will be telling us how many squares of t.p. we can use to whipes our butts.

Yeah it's the new government run Antler Equality Bureau. The best part about it is that everybody is equal. The selfish people that work hard scouting, planning and hunting for antlers must give all but 2 antlers to the Antler Czar so that he can redistribute those to the poor, mistreated people who sit on their butts so that everybody gets 2 antlers. Of course if there is too much demand, they will start taxing those evil, selfish, antler hunters who actually work hard to find sheds so that the government can buy enough sheds so that everybody can have two sheds. It's genius because we all know that it's not fair that any one person should have more than somebody else.
Keep finding those sheds! I look forward to enjoying the fruits of your labor.
