So I'm up to 5 points now. Should I keep putting in for X7B or start saving points for a better zone? If so, than what zone do you guys suggest?
Thanks
Brian

X7B or X5B I would keep putting in for it.

Won't matter, you will never catch up.

A friend of mine drew 7b last year with 2 or 3 points I guess he got lucky and got one of the random tags,He said he saw a few nice bucks scouting its a decent area if put in the time preseason locating them.

If you only want to hunt once in your lifetime here in california apply for a better unit. Other wise stick with an X zone. If I had 5 points I'd be looking into the late anderson flat archery or the late covelo archery.
