I have a wisker biscuit rest on my reflex buckskin bow and it seems to be making some noise (the rest) the noiseis when i shoot not when i pull back.Is a little noise normal.Thanks.

No, noise isn't normal. What kind of noise is it? I would say first check and make sure the wiskers are square to the arrow shaft and not at an angle. I assume it is a new rest? Make sure you have the correct size biscuit for the arrows you are shooting(carbon or aluminum). Also check and make sure all the screws are tight. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I have the same setup: whisker biscuit rest on a Reflex Buckskin. Everyone comments on how quiet the bow is. I do not hear any noise during draw.

Hope that helps.

One thing the whisker biscuit causes fletching contact on every single release so my question would be how could it not be noisy. Plus when I tried one I had to refletch my arrows all the time. I shoot alot!

I have found with my W.B. that it is a little harder on fletchings but it is definitely a quiet rest. I have questioned it mainly because I shoot a lot as well and I don't like how hard it is on my fletchings. I know it will be sweet to hunt with though....

The brand new QT biscuits have softer bristles and arent as hard on fletchings. The outer 1/8" to 3/16" will ripple a little with wear but it doesnt really affect anything.

Take a small drop of fletching glue and put it on the front of your fletchings to help them from getting ripped up.

Check the biscuit alignment... also make sure the arrow is square with the string. If its off, it would be forced into the biscuit harder on release and would make alot more noise
