Winter kill

You think the deer herd is not doing so good, wait another month and the winter kill in utah is going to wipe a bunch more out. I hope here will be a few left come summer. Not looking good at all. How’s it look where your at.

Came through WY and SE Idaho a couple days ago and it was depressing. I'm not sure how it compares to normal, but I know what animals can survive and it's serious.

Alot of snow here and very cold temps. Not looking good. The Idaho F&G will have to drastically cut tags but they won't and numbers will never be good. When do they look out for game instead of sell tags ?

Felt like n Utah was doing ok, then that artic blast hit and froze snow real bad.

Without a good thaw this month, we are in bad shape.

If the cold doesn't get them, the highway mortality will! I've seen more roadkill lately than ever. Going to be rough without some quick warm-up.
