Winter Kill In Wyoming

I called the Game Warden in Wyoming (region H) and ask him about how the deer were holding up this winter. He said if the weather doesn't get to 40 by the first part of April last part of March it would be a severe winter die off. Just thought Id pass this on to those who are hunting G & H. I believe his name Is Bubba Haley in Pinedale. Quest

I am no biologist but, this winter has had me feeling pretty sorry for the critters. It's BAD here in Southern Wyo. I get the feeling that they're right at the tipping point and I hope they get a reprieve from the snow soon. It's a shame because numbers were finally starting to creep back up again.
