Winter Kill in Region K?

Just wondering how the deer did this winter in region K, mainly around Evanston and to the East. Any insight into the impact that this crazy weather has had on the deer would be appreciated.

Its bad very bad. I did mortality counts a couple of weeks ago and found26 dead deer in a five mile hike. I didn't find any dead adult bucks and this winter will really affect hunting seasons to come worse than it will this one. You will be seeing less bucks this fall due to the winter of 07-08. My feeling is 07-08 was much worse than this one but the data will be out soon.
