I ran into this story in the paper and was instantly pi$$ed off.

http://www.cdapress.com/news/local_news/article_d33aa10a-1e9e-5f0e-8921-6305e2e01e8d.html

This Teacher in Idaho Justin Taylor who makes 31,750 dollars per year from taxpayers for indoctrinating our children. If I lived in that school district I would want him fired. This kid of cr@p makes me sick. He is quoted in the story saying

"We were exploring facts and creating opinions about the wolf hunting debate in Idaho," Taylor said. "We also looked at propaganda and bias to determine the reliability of resources. We held a debate and argued for or against the hunting of gray wolves in Idaho."

Then he goes on to say.

"Idaho Fish and Game has a lot of info on the topic and is clearly in favor of hunting wolves," Taylor said. "I also found some video put out from New York Times that objectively examined and reported on the situation."

The new York times objectively reported? Ya right.
This guy needs fired ASAP.

+1 Thanks for showing this to us, Ron! What a bunch of BS!
I can just see little Johnny running home and telling his mom that he was kissed by a wolf at school today and would like to go out in the mountains behind his home to find some more to kiss!
I sure hope the locals come down hard on the school board to correct this situation.

The "real truth," Taylor said, is that there are about 700 wolves in the state. Idaho Fish and Game's recent estimates exceed 1,000.

Taylor said wolves are necessary to maintain a healthy eco-system by keeping the deer and elk populations down.

Marzio encouraged the students to gather facts before deciding whether to support or oppose the hunt.

OR THE FACTS AS HE SEES THEM. Let there be no doubt, this teacher is not teaching, he is ascribing social values. That's not his job, that's a parents job. Some subscriber needs to forward this to Limbaugh.

Ron, I wont' take your post but you should put this in the general hunting section. BTW, not a lot of bucks in 47.. ...

I do have it posted there but not a lot of guys are seeing it yet. This is an outrage to me. Your right this so called teacher is teaching HIS social values. We are paying these so called teachers to do this to OUR kids. Please pass this link along as you see fit.
Sorry about net seeing many bucks in 47. It seems it lived up to expectations. Ron

My sons were brought up knowing that to save a calf or fawn you had to whack predators where and when you found them. Pretty sure they have not changed their minds yet. We should all do the same. Remember what was taught to us as children as basic outdoor skills and thought! Hell I can recall ads in major hunting publications advocating the shooting of Owls and eagles in the not too distant past. Golden eagles kill a bunch of baby critters each year!! Sorry, rant over.

I wish my kid went to that school and was in that class. I would have sent him to school with a load of pictures of animals being slaughtered by this a-holes beloved wolves. I would have sent him with as much information to dispute this animal lovers crap. This stuff really bothers me and it is up to us as parents to discredit asses like this.
