I'll give up lead when they pry it from my cold dead hands.

Just kidding. It will soon be the law in California, so I made a total switch two years ago. I've actually been satisfied with the results. Not happy about the money, of course.

Nothing but steel and copper for me.

It's kind of like traffic lights. I think they are stupid, but I shake my head and obey them

The article didn't come right out and say the poisoning was from firearm activity, did they? That's where they want you to place all the blame however.

The lowly gun always gets the blame for everything even when science has shown that condors are more prone to lead poisoning from discarded batteries!

With that said, I do believe that lead from rifles and shotguns accounts for some of the condor's plight and we should follow the regulation accordingly.
