The Zion is definitely not for you. Not much of a chance at finding a 40"er.
I spent 6 years working as a park ranger at ZNP in the late 80s and early 90s and spent hundreds of hours scouting the surrounding areas and in all that time I was only able to turn up a handful of 30"ers in that country. Can't say I even saw one 35"er.Last Day I'd Try a 35"ER Ridge!

More fake news reporting. Look at the success rates. Not everyone is killing a buck and many of those were unsuccessful by choice. It seems like the big difference between those that are truly successful and those that are not are the successful people don't worry about what others are doing and just focus on what they can control.

I live, work, and hunt on the unit. Does not match my style too much. Areas that I want to hike into get a lot of illegal atv us.
