I know, I'm a sucker for the new stuff too.......just had to get rid of my Outback the minute the Switchback came out.......

But, I recently had another friend finally get the bug to start into archery....he gave me the go to find a bow for him that would be cheap enough for his pocket....he gave me a $250.00 limit and that had to include everything.......

I picked up a used High Country Brute Force......I'm guessing it is a 3 or 4 year old bow...just set it up today with a 3pin CJ Hunter sight, Whisker Bisquit Rest and 6 GT 5575 arrows using a TruBall Stinger release.......I tuned it up and sighted it in... before i get it fit to him.......20-30-40 yards, and I was drilling the bull........one of the most enjoyable bows I think I've ever shot......I picked him up a Flambeau hard sided case also, and altogether I have $240 into the whole works......including the stab, wrist sling and quiver that came with the bow.......kinda has me thinking I should keep it, LOL

Wow....no responses ?!?!? Everybody must think from the title, i must be selling something ?!?!LOL

Just wanted to let folks know, they don't need to buy into the hype, nor the product.....there's older stuff out there, that shoots just as good if not better, than some of the new stuff.....and it won't break you checking account....

You are a good friend. I am sure your buddy will appreciate the time and thought you put into getting him set up within budget. Well done.
