Whiteys dropping now?

I saw on another website that the whie tailed deer back East are dropping antlers right now. I never knew that whiteys drop thier antlers so much earlier than muleys. Is this a regional thing or are Western whiteys dropping now also? fatrooster.

Here in eastern Colorado, the whiteys start about the first of February, where as the muleys don't start until the first of March.

I seen a nice four by five today that was still packing, but he was the only buck, the muleyys in this area drop about a month ealier than the rest up here so who knows, I will have to keep an eye on him

im from south dakota and the girlfriend picked up the first whitey shed of the year it was only a couple hours old but the muleys dont even show sign of dropping yet

A friend of mine picked up two whitetail sets this past week. We are heading out Saturday to see if we can find a few more. so far it looks like it is just whitetails. All of the muleys I have seen are still packing.

My brother saw three WT bucks this week with one side shed, my buddy was grouse hunting last Saturday and picked up a fresh shed, & another guy has trail cam pictures of bucks from last week that had shed already, all in NW North Carolina
