Whitetails in North Dakota

Has anyone hunted whitetails in North Dakota near the Montana line? If so, what is the quality of the bucks there, is access difficult, and is there much for public ground?

I have hunted them on the other side of the line (Montana) saw alot of nice whitetails and a few nice muleys, I'm sure they are the same in ND due to the same type of farming, Fairview Mt was where we was hunting.

there are some good whiteies here. but i haven't hunted them to seriously though.saw a great one this fall but had a muley tag.more muley's here shot a 26incher nothing big just a nice buck this year. lots of public land. you might have more success for a big buck in eastern n.d.if you need more info let me know i live by teddy roosevelt nat park good luck
