I found a few horns while I was turkey hunting. one almost looks like a whitetail antler. I saw a thing saying there are whitetail in UT, and have been here for some time. I know someone who claims shooting at a whitetail buck close to the area I found this antler. but who knows right?

what do you guys think?

I would say it is a muley. Just a small forked horn with a brow tine. Just my opinion, but yes I have heard of Whitetails being in Northern Utah. My Grandpa shot one back in the 80's that was in Southern Utah, Fishlake.

are you serious, you found a small horn and think its a whitetail? you gotta be kidding me

DR H, I have never heard of a Utah whitetail being that far south. There have been reports of whitetails in the north of the state. That's a new one for me.

Eldorado

It was back in the early 80's. I will try to dig up the pic and post it. He was just a dinky little 5-point, or excuse me, I mean 10-point. Even in the late 80's I remember seeing a few killed by hunters. I don't know if it was the remnants of a small herd or what. I will have to ask my Father what the history behind it was.
