whitetail in unit 18

looking for whitetail in 18 are 14. is there alot your is it going to be a hard hunt. I have my 12 year old son going deer
hunting for the 1st time.

good hunting in both units.. also a lot of mulies (permit only). november will see the bucks out and about moving. Very little chance of hunting any of the private ground for free. Plenty of public ground with some very big bucks, but it will not be like hunting farm ground where you see deer after deer.
One of the best whitetails I have ever seen was in 18, and on the snake side at that! No late season in 18.

White bird is a town. There are a lot of whitetails down low. If you start getting into mulies get lower.
