whitetail buck packin head gear

I went bear scouting/backpacking with a friend this weekend and i spotted 2 whitetail bucks. one of them had velvet knobs and the ther was a really nice buck all white antlered still packin!

and my buddy found this too

Great find, always nice to find an antler or deadhead when out.

You can no longer pick up dead heads...they passed a law that was intended for road kill so you couldnt pick them up and the fish and game can recover it and sell the animals for chairity. But they included dead heads. Your supposed to report it to the f&g and they determine if its a natural death and if they want to let you keep it you have to fill out a tag similar to finding a bighorn....most f&g officers havent heard about this, a friend told me about it he runs a towing company and all state police know about this law and have passed it on to tow truck companies....just trying to keep people out of trouble for something they dont know about
