Need some help om what fletching will work on the WB. Thinking about Blazer. Any help would be appreciated. Also thinking about fletching my own arrows for the first time. What equipment would I need.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-05-06 AT 08:53AM (MST)[p]I'd have to agree. Go with Blazers. As far as a jig goes, for a first timer, I'd say get an Arizona E-Z fletcher. It's the easiest one I've ever used. The Bitzenburger and Jo-Jan are also good. Stay away from the cabelas brand jigs. I have one and I hate it.

I third the blazers. I shoot with 4 2" blazers on my Beman 340's and love em'.

I could use some help too. I am ready to put blazers on but I am no pro. I shoot a wisker b. rest and 3 blade muzzy tips. How many vanes... 3? Any other advice appreciated as well, like should I straight fletch or helical??

I shoot the exact same set up and I shoot three vanes, and they shoot just great for me. I had been fleching them straight but for broad heads I put some helical to them and like what I see. I think the helical does help some with the broad heads, but the ones I fleched straight didn't shoot bad either so... Good luck.
