Okay, I am going to buy me a new bow. I have shot the Hoyt Trykon, Ultratech, Vipertech, Mathews Switchback LD, XT, A Reflex (not sure wich one) An AR. Bowtech Oldglory, Pro40, Alligence. I have narrowed it down to two, The Pro40 is a an older modle that the proshop had left and at a price of $500. And the Alligence for a bit more in price, I like the pro40 but realy liked the alligence. Have any of you guys compared these two bows and what did you think. Thanks.

I have both.
I have a 2004 Pro 40 & a 2005 Allegiance.
I got the Allegiance just a couple of months ago, It is a little faster, but a little more demanding to shoot.
The Pro 40 has a smoother draw, with it's single cam design and seems easier to hold at full draw.
Both bows are 70lbs & 29" draw.
I liked my pro 40 a lot and took a nice buck the first season I hunted with a bow.
The Pro 40 is larger in overall size than the Allegiance too.

I would much rather have the alligence just because of the speed. It is a much stiffer bow and is a little harder to pull but i work at a archery shop. And i see most people shooting the alligence and loving it. But i would just take what feels the best they are both very good bows and will take any animal around.

Stick a big one!

Or you could buy a Patriot I know someone that has one for 600.00 includes 100.00 sight and 100.00 rest. so you really are getting the bow for 400.00 call jeff 801-732-1056

Okay, I have been hearing rumours of bowtech have a very crapy customer service. Things taking a long time to come back. Have any of you guys had problems with them.

Before you purchase, you have to shoot the Bowtech Tribute, thi is a sick bow. Irecently bought one, it is an amazing bow.
Just my two cents.....

If you're looking for a great hunting bow I'd suggest either the allegience or the Tribute. If you're looking for an all around bow for 3d, spots, and hunting I'd look at the Old Glory, little longer axle to axle and a little more forgiving. It's about 10 fps slower than the other two, but still faster than most any other bow out there!
