Where's Littlefoot???

Haven't seen much sign from you lately LF, so I thought maybe you'd bite if I threw up some elk sheds I've been finding.

I found this big one on Saturday. Scored right at 140" which is pretty damn good for a Roosevelt elk. Friday I picked up another 6 point shed that scored in the low 130's as well. In the last picture it is the one in the middle. The last picture is the best of my elk sheds from this year. Two matched sets and all of them over 130" except for the set in the front.

It is always really exciting when he finally does post his pictures. (that's where i believe Littefoot is.) i check everyday for his post.

By the way those are some great elk sheds. love the color of Roosevelt antlers.

Great sheds, and a great eye, must be even tougher to spot those tines in all the brush on the wet side. I love the dark stains Roosevelts get in their antlers. LF hunts sheds in a very popular area, he probably got a lot of guys out the door and into the hills after he posted his pics this year. We probably won't hear from him till the middle of May when the shed fever dies down as the temperature goes up.

Well I know that LF usually waits until the end to make a posting of his sheds... but he does comment while he's picking them up!

Come on Gentry... take the bait.

I went and searched for the other side in the middle of last week. No luck, but I found last years shed off the same bull (same side I have) and another 7 point elk shed.

Un-earthed:

Friday I got out for 30 minutes hoping I would find the match.... and it paid off.

Back at home together:

Grossed 316 6/8" with a 36" spread, netted 309 4/8"/
