where to draw a cougar in UTAH

I have 8 points going into the draw this year. I have never been on a cougar hunt. I think that I can draw about any unit. Where would you draw if you had your choice?
I live in Utah County, but that doesn't mean too much.

I assume you will need to run it with dogs. Do you have friends with dogs? If so, find out where they would like to hunt and if they can take you and see what areas they like.

There's now shortage of cats in the hills. If you have dogs and a good guide who knows how to cut a track you will find them just about anywhere. NE Region has a lot of good cat chasing territory.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-20-11 AT 04:10PM (MST)[p]There are a lot of unit you can draw, but some of the good units you have aways to go. I've got 9 and I figure I'm atleast 3 years out.

edit: By the way, last years odds aren't even out yet. I think that gives a lot of people false hope thinking they are closer to drawing than they really are.
