LAST EDITED ON Feb-27-13 AT 08:42PM (MST)[p]Only made one outing this year for a couple of hours. Came up short for muley sheds but I did find this cool little elk single off the highway so I will take what I can get.
My count 17 deer sheds so far; almost all dink "whiteys". I've seen 3 bucks still packing in three trips "out there"...nothing special, but one decent three-point set.
We went out yesterday.
We tried some new stuff. We had never shed hunted before.
By the looks of what we found, it doesn't look like it gets shed hunted much at all.
March 1st and we didnt find a lot of browns.
Didnt see any deer packing.
One day, 49 sheds. Just picking a random spot, in a place we had never been before.
Don't worry, we will make sure there are never that many whites left on the ground again.
