Where did the bucks go???????

I have been hunting my arss off for the Utah Extended hunt since I was unable to close the deal during the regular. I have been in the high country and lower elevations also and am having a hard time finding bucks. I am seeing groups of 5 to 13 does but no bucks. Is anyone else running into the same thing this year on the extended???

Maybe the big bucks have gone nocternal... they will do that when they have revieved some pressure.

Just wait until November and be patient. They WILL show up. The big boys can't resist roaming around in mid to late November. If you are looking for bucks on the extended now you better get pretty high, but give it month and they will be down lower whether we get snow or not. When the rut turns on so does the hunting. If bucks are nocturnal the rest of the year they still seem to come out of nowhere in November. The bucks are still where they always have been and they will soon show up in the same places that they always do. Just be ready when they do.
