I CAN HUNT 11 SECTION WITHOUT ANY OTHER BOW HUNTER ON THIS LAND. WOULD YOU GO THE FIRST WEEKEND IN SEPT OR WOULD YOU GO ANOTHER WEEKEND. I WANT TO SPOT AND STOCK WHICH TIME WOULD BE BEST.
Spot & Stalk with limited selective calling if in close & something has to give, like you're busted by unseen cows/elk. I'd head out the last 10 days of Sept. Elk are more vocal & on the prowl/move, much better chance in hearing & seeing them for location. If you have a tough time in locating during daytime call at night no matter the part of the month, elk are brave after dark! Plus no other hunting pressure, you've got it made!!!
