When Do They Top Out...Bills?

So when do they hit their peak as far as growing goes on Bulls in Utah...With Archery season so early I see that they can still be in Velvet, just wondering if they're done by then....Or like Bucks, pretty dry and just waiting to rub....

There are plenty if elk left during the start if the archery hunt that are full velvet. Not really,but I jut want boot to know to shut it!!

Here are a couple bulls that I found opening day last year. It would have been cool to shoot a bull in velvet but I wasn't quite ready to settle for that 6x7 opening day.
