We all know our passion is hunting but what would be number two? Aside from the obvious things like kids and family and church (manny) what do u do for kicks? Good way to learn more about our fellow MM'ers. This is my equal to hunting!

Awesome bike NVMULEDEER1. I was antelope hunting out in the middle of nowhere south of Battle Mountain one year and here came a guy on a dirt bike. He stopped and we chatted for awhile. He was crossing Nevada staying off the pavement as much as possible. I think that would be a blast!

I think my 2nd passion is fish with my son. And coach his little league team. I coach 2 other teams too.

With me hunting and fishing is number one. So I would say
Golf. I posted 133 rounds to my handicap index in 2009 and travel alot to play golf. This year I will be a marshall at the US Open in Pebble Beach for the third time.
 
it Was coaching High school Wrestling now I just ref wrestling waiting on those grandkids to get big enough to coach them.

Riding Mountain bikes with my Wife and Friends might be #2.

This pic is on the Monarch Crest Trail and is a 38 mile long ride reaching almost 13,000' before descending. We got caught in a nasty lightning storm towards the end when we were below timberline.

Thanks, Those were two good ones for this country. As i recall, one was just over 6 lbs and the other was a solid 7 1/2, a good day!

Yes, these were took awhile ago, 14-15 yrs ago while in my early 40's. I'm just about 7/8 $hit faced in front of The Mt Lassen Club when this pic was taken and i've been sober 13 years now.

My scanner doesn't work so i can't download the newer pic's with big fish but i have them. I moved here for the fishing and the bu-cu public lands.

Grizzly Adams? Been told that before but my Mom says i look more like Toby Keith when i get a trim and cleaned up.lol Anyway, at 6'2"+ and plenty thick, i'm what you might call a big ol boy ;-)

Hunting is of course like all of us is #1, however I decided a few years ago to build a hunting rig after scratching up my truck on some trails. So I decided to get a Jeep. It kind of has become my 2nd obsession. It's something to do in the off season. The pics in the snow were taken yesterday (Jan. 2nd).

That is a Cherio from the stone age. Or possibly a Fruit Loop with years of faded pigment. They lasted much longer when they made them from stone rather than grain meal but they weren't a huge marketing success. :)

Hunting is down the line a bit after my girls. I consider myself a fortunate man to be able to have passions that clump together at the top and don't ever conflict!

My collection is all legal and documented....some people on here need to read the antiquities laws...The discoidal(round doohicky) is very rare and there are many theories on it. Fishing weight,shaft straightener, horse tether. For Ute and Winnemucca-you 2 need to Cowboy up and get off your pity party problem..My collection is preserving and not disturbing...My ancestors told me I could pick up any artifact they used thousands of years ago....Already proven my ancestors were on the North American Continent just as long if not longer than yours...look up Solutrean Culture....
 
Hey Jim, I see and our daughters like the finer things in life too. My 17 year old isn't into hunting with me like yours, but likes to make sure the boys understand who's still boss :)

My most serious passion is taking care of my 9 year old. He has a ton of issues, all relating to his abuse in the foster care system, that need to be dealt with on a daily basis.

NvBighorn, While my Wife is Mexican that is not her in the picture. We have run a few Best in the Desert races in the past. This year is strictly the Score series. The next race is in Laughlin January 15th - 17th.
