Well, gearing up for another elk hunt in Unit 39 this year. Last year was a fun year with a nice opening day bull taken in our camp. But most years are nothing to write home about.
Weather early sure helped us out last year, and made for a fun hunt. I am not expecting that kind of a year this year, and quite honestly, am not getting my hopes up. What I am getting my hopes up for is 2 1/2 weeks in the woods with my bro. Man, I need a break from the daily grind. It's well overdue.
