What UT moose unit ?

My wife has 16 moose points and I wanted to know if there is a better unit to draw than Wasatch? We live in Ut county and so Wasatch would be a close after work drive. I am willing to drive to a better area if there is one. What are your thoughts? Thanks

I'd stick with Wasatch. I live here in the North and the Ogden use to be really good but they've been taking a lot of moose in previous years. Big bulls are there but not like 8-10 years ago. Just my 2 cents.

I've got 17 points and am holding out for the Wasatch after much deliberation.

For what it is worth I know of three Wasatch moose hunters who were successful this year, but all three bulls were under 40 inches. I think you have to hunt hard to get a really good bull, but there must still be a few around. Good luck on what ever unit you choose.
