What should I do

I've already decided to use Shuttle broadheads. I like them.
They seem to shoot <2" lower than field points. I want/like to practice with broadheads in off-season, but also like to shoot field points with friends. What should I do about sighting in?

Tune your bow so they shoot to the same place. Lower your nock point or raise your rest just a hair at a time until the broadheads and field points hit together.

I agree.

IS there some specific insutruction on how to tune? My thinking is, if I lift the rest wont both field points and broadheads be affecting? What is the science behind tuning by moving the rest. Thanks in advance

yes, moving the rest will move both broadhead arrows and field tip arrows, but it will move the BH arrows a lot more. Eventually, since the bh arrow is more sensitive to rest adjustments, it will catch up to the field tips. Keep making very minor rest adjustments until they hit the same spot together, regardless of whether they are hitting the bullseye or not. Once the broadheads and the field point hit together, then you can move your sight to get your self back into the bullseye.

Download the Easton Arrow Tuning Guide. It is a wealth of information.

2" at what yardage? If it was only 2" at all yardage BFD. Sight it in for your broad heads and simply hold at the bottom of your desired impact point with field points. Easy and you don't have to mess around with it.
