I've been watching a herd of bulls for some 2 or 3 weeks now. Only problem is, half a dozen other guys have too. One bull (300") dropped yesterday and I know exactly what bush they're under. All the other seven bulls with him still have both sides, including one thats over 380. I've watched a few guys hike, and ride wheelers right to them and just watch. I was planning on waiting until they had all dropped and moved out before I went up, but know they can be safe for to much longer. What does a guy do now? I hate to push them out and never see the big one again, but at the same time I've spent a lot of time watching them and don't want to leave them up there for someone that spooks the herd just to get one and finds the set I saw drop! I had the sheds laying on the ground tonight in my scope and would've never thought I would just look at a set of elk sheds sitting there and do nothing about it! The snow has all but melted, and if they were spooked, they wouldn't be in any danger. My ethics are telling to hold back, but my "horn"mones a rarin' to go!!!! ????????
