What elk unit did you apply for????

You say there are three of you with those PPs, so why didn't you apply as a party if you want to hunt together. That way all of you either draw or don't draw the tag. Maybe you did and I just don't understand what you're saying!

We did. That's the problem. There are only 3 NR, Reular Draw, Max point tags. Last year there were 6 applicants, 3 drew. We'd have to be the first ones drawn to get tags.

Not so! If they have the same amount of tags as 2010 and the first two get taken by individuals, you would still have a chance at drawing. For the deer, elk, and antelope draws in Wyoming, if they pick your party in the draw you will all get tags even if it exceeds the tags left when your number comes up. That should make you happy to hear that!!! Good luck to your group!!! You can look in the draw odds section for those animals in the G&F website and actually see where that happens quite a bit.
