does anyone know if someone has a close relative (father, son, brother) that works on a state park, can they hunt sheds their. I hear they cant. I just dont know if its a law or not. I personaly think they shouldn't.

Antelope Island is a state park and they have a controlled shed hunt there. The issue is access. Do they allow open access or limited to trail systems. You cannot legally pick up sheds in the national parks, but not sure about other state parks

It is up to the state park you want to shed hunt whether it is legal or not. I pick up sheds in a state park that its legal to, yet another state park not too far away it is legal only with a special use permit.

And of course some are not legal to take them out of the park. Also with your research you will find most have no regulation on shed antler hunting but when asked about they say it is "frown upon".

Good luck!

ya this park is pass only i know that, i know a guy thats brother works there and rides horses and the guy always has some big antlers that he brings out. maybe I should just let it go.

Soooo, you're thinking he's picking up sheds illegally...?

You're probably right, no way he has a pass like everyone else right...? Let it go man... he just has a lot more access, and spends more time there...
