I am willing to spend up to $800 and i just want to know your guys opinion on what bow to get? i have had 3 different bows in the last 5 years and just want one that is a little bit better i did shoot a deer at 73 yards with the bow that i have now but it is starting to go down hill any opinions will help thanks!!!

Go try A Bow Tech and a Ross and a Mathews then decide or try a PSE, Browning,Hoyt, or Martin there all great bows. Its a Matter of which one works for ya!

What bow do you have now? Are you shooting a release? Does that $800 include accessories or will you be transferring them over from your exsisting bow?

I personally shoot a Mathews LX for hunting and an Apex 7 for target and 3D, but there are a lot of great bows out there.

My step dad just bought a Bowtech Liberty, I think it is a great bow at a great price. It feels more like my LX than any other bow that I have ever tried.

Right now i have a pse marauder and for the cost i like it it was about $280 and it shoots fast but i after 3 years it is starting to looks its consistancy i have buddys that shoot PSE BOWTEC Hoyt Mathews Martin and dimond and so far the dimond stands out over them all!!!

The biggest reason that I liked the Liberty is because the draw stop hits the limb, giving it a very hard wall. I find that bows hold much better with a very hard wall.

The new Black Ice is also a great looking bow. My step dad was able to find a Liberty on ebay for under $500 brand new in the box. I would usually recommend buying from a pro shop, but that was too good a deal to pass up.

73 yards? that's impressive. Anyways I don't know what you've already tried (your 3 previous bows) but for the money I think that Reflex (made by Hoyt and just about as good) is worth giving a look at. That's what I shoot and it works great. For the bow, accessories, arrows, broadheads, etc. I've spent a total of about $750. but if you plan on using your sights and whatnot from an old bow, then you could probably afford something a little better.

ok thanks for all the good input. i have checked out the black ice liberty justice and the Reflex and i ended up buying the new 07 black ice it just fit me perfect and it is sweet!!! now anyone have any recomindations for arrows a have shot easton axis the last 3 years but i am willing to switch but what ever arrow i get it will be wearing a wac em!!!
