I got my Switchback today after being set up and I cant believe the difference between my $300 PSE and the Switchback. Its like night and day. Im not knocking PSE but I really feel you get what you pay for. Its like with optics- the more you spend the better the optics are. I am a firm believer in this case as well. A few of you said that my PSE would end up in the closet after shooting my swithback and I think youre right. I love the Switchback. Its too bad I gotta wait til next year to hunt with it. Not worth taking a chance with it this season. Ill stick to what I am comfortable with for now. Thanks for all your help and advice. Lets go shoot!!!!!

"Not worth taking a chance with it this season."

Unless you are going hunting tomorrow, then you should shoot the Switchback. It's so easy to shoot and get used to. Just practice every night or so. It should only take a couple weeks to get settled with it. If you don't, then you might get into a position where your Switchback would have been the better choice. I love mine and feel very confident with it. When does your season open?

Wiszard, a couple of weeks of practice and you'll be shooting the switchback for hunting. Shoot the bow that your the most accurate with and that way you will have the confidence in the field. Good luck and enjoy!!

The season opened July 8th and its only 3 weeks long. Ive only got 2 weeks left and Im going camping the next 4 days. Ive been out twice- last hight and again tonight. I had a little button buck at 20 yards but he wasnt legal. Still, that made my night. I wont have the time to get comfortable enough to hunt with it during bow season but I often use my bow up until the last week of rifle season. Ill shoot that bow in conjunction w/ my PSE. Here in Cali the seasons are a lot earlier than the mid west. Its hot and there are a crapload of flies, etc. And if you dont have a private ranch to hunt on it makes it hard to find a decent place on public land to hunt. The local public areas are loaded w/ hunters unless you have horses to get way back in. Im lucky and Ive got a couple little areas I can hunt thats semi-private. Back to the Switchback- believe me I want to be hunting with it but I would hate to make a bad shot on a buck and feel horrible for losing him JUST because I wanted to hunt with a new bow. Thanks for the advice guys!
