Western Mule Deer Hunt Help

I only have 1 mule deer hunt under my belt in Wyoming 2010. I saw several deer and a few forkhorn bucks in region B, never saw anything I wanted to shoot except a nice whitetail buck out of range.

I have killed dozens of whitetails in Tennessee, so myself and a few friends are looking for suggestions on a good DIY mule deer hunt somewhere out west.

I prefer wyoming but I am open to other states. I have been researching areas, but I cant seem to narrow anything down since I have never put boots on the ground in most areas.

Any ideas are welcome.

My friends prefer rifle and I prefer muzzleloader hunts. Either or.
