A West Virginia Department of Highways employee stopped at a farm and talked to an old farmer. He told the farmer I need to inspect your farm for a possible new road. The old farmer told him don't go in that field. The Highways employee said I have the authority of the State of West Virginia to go where I want. See this card he said, I am allowed to go wherever I wish on farm land. The old farmer went about his farm chore and later on heard a loud scream and saw the Highways employee running for the fence with the farmers prize bull close behind. The bull was madder than a nest full hornets and gaining on the employee with every step. The old farmer called out, show him your card, show him your card!
