west desert vernon Archery

I am thinking of trying to draw the archery tag for West Desert Vernon, it would be a long shot, I have 16 points, has anyone hunted it in the past couple of years? if so how was the experience? Thanks

I hunted it in 2008 while I was a Utah resident. Drew it with 0pts the first year I put in for it. Haven't drawn a random draw tag in any state since then! Ha! It was a fun hunt and I had a good time going out there every week in the summer and scouting. That was 16 years ago so not sure how much the unit's changed since then. I'm currently sitting at 14 Non-Resident deer points in Utah going into 2025. Still a few years out for Vernon archery but I'm not 100% set on that being the hunt I'll go for. Feel free to PM me and I'll share what I know about Vernon.
