LAST EDITED ON Apr-06-05 AT 01:40PM (MST)[p]Here are a few sheds that NVMDF, a buddy of his, NvrEnuf and myself picked up over the weekend. Not too shabby eh?

Isn't it amazing how many antlers go unfound year after year? When you consider the amount of people out looking for antlers, you'd think everything would be picked clean. But then you see the evidence, as in these pictures, of how many of the previous year(s) sheds go unfound untill they turn a bit white and are easier for the eyes to pick out....a year or more later!

My theory is that a good majority of the animals don't let them loose untill after the crowd has gone thru thinking the season is over with.

Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from the trip.

Double eye guard shed.

We glassed up this match set from across a big canyon.

On the way over to get that match set we glassed this set within about 100yds of the other 2 sheds.

I hope I can find 1/3 that many this weekend.

Good luck to you guys.

Sweet find guys....looks like a blast.

NvrEnuf....What do you do with your sheds? Cause', man that's a lot of sheds. I wouldn't know what to do with em' all except put em' in a big azz pile. Just curious.

Great finds guys! I would die if I ever found a fraction of that many sheds in one trip. Looks like all your time and work is paying off nicely.

Good luck this next weekend.

DAMN NICE JOB, IT USUALLY DOESN'T HAPPEN LIKE THAT BUT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE YOU JUST GET LUCKY AND HIT ONE OF THOSE SPOTS THAT NOBODY HAS HIT IN A FEW YEARS. I FOUND A SPOT LIKE THAT THIS YEAR BUT ONLY PACKED OUT ABOUT THIRTY SHEDS IN TWO DAYS WALKIN, ANY WAY GOOD JOB THANKS FOR SHARIN THOSE PICS.

That's incredible... To think.. all those whities were once brown... Congrats.. It's days like those that we all dream about!! How many were brown?
Tanner

There were somewhere around 30 browns, can't remember. The total was just over 190.

Here's my pack after about six hours.

The majority of these bones were picked up on the ground...In southern Iowa.

Awesome pics, What impresses me the most is there is no fat cats or wheelers in any of these pictures.
I've seen pics like this before but there normally piled on the front rack instead of the pack.
Reminds me of about ten years ago about anywhere you went before everyone started in December, and had 4 wheelers, with special towers built on them to elevate (no crap I saw that a couple of years ago)
Way to go guys, you've set a goal for me to work at.

Eric,

Great pics, we need to do another trip into that area soon.
I have another place in mind. Glad you had a good time.

NVMDF

NVMDF, it's good to see you made it back from your vacation man! I hope you and the wife had a good time. You're right, we need to get back out there and find some more sheds SOON!

Thanks for inviting us out man. I can't wait until next time.
