Yep opening day or two for the sept 15th rifle hunt should be interesting.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-13-17 AT 12:36PM (MST)[p]I'm heading back up today. Been Elk hunting. Should change things dramatically if we get much colder weather. Deer hunting on the 15th in the Grey's will be interesting. Will the bucks come down out of their high perches or what?

Good luck to you as well! I imagine if the weather deteriorates the visibility will suck and it wont matter where the bucks go, you wont be able to glass/see them...at least until the weather breaks.

I prayed for colder weather for my elk hunt this weekend in eastern Wyoming. It was 93 degrees on Monday when I got my buck deer to the car. I got the meat on ice and managed to protect it some how.
