I know there are some plumbers out there. I need to have a water softening system installed in my place. I dont have a lot of space for one. Are there many options? Any mmers want some business? It will be a couple months out, but I need to start making plans now.

Thanks

what is 'a lot of space'? The softener itself won't take up more room than a square foot or so. The salt tank can be a bit bigger but I have seen some that are taller and only 18-20" in diameter plus you can put it a ways a way from the softener unit in another room, under the stairs so somewhere. Some models actually have the softener unit inside the salt tank. I would say 3-4 square feet would fit most models.

The space that would need to fit both is only about 20" wide by 3' long, and I would have to remove my water heater to get them back there. But I was planning on replacing it anyways.

I have one that is FREE, you pick up and take. Cost too much to ship.
