Waterproof socks or hunt in wet feet with those style of boots.

You can make them Water Resistant, but you are NOT going to get waterproof.
Go get some WP socks, or different boots.

I've used Snow Seal and silicon spray. Either is good for wearing a few times but you gotta keep applying it.

Silicone spray is better than SnoSeal. I used Snoseal when I was in HS for hunting and my feet got wet.maybe my mistake was putting boots near heat to melt it in..

Have them wear 2 pairs of socks and put a plastic bag between. May sweat a little but wool socks inside will take care of that and it keeps their feet warmer

We fight this battle yearly.

Cabelas USED to sell goretex kids boots, iron ridge. Then bass pro stopped that.

Gaiters. Our best solution has been gaiters. There are some decent ones on amazon.

We use neoprene boots in cold. They fit better than big clumpy snow boots.

Or. Us old timers got bread bags over a pair of socks, covered by another pair of socks, and rocked our Moon Boots.

Not sure your kids age, but my inlaws had his boy in women's boots, he got on clearance somewhere.

From the party of HUNTIN, FISHIN, PUBLIC LAND.
